Why you shouldn't play MMORPGS.

Wah this World of Warcraft really eating up all my time sial...that explains this late/early post (depends how you want to look at it). Anyways been so caught up with WoW lately that i just didn't really have the time to do much, which is obviously a bad thing. Sigh yet another MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) taking over my already miserable life. Anyways MMORPG has taken the game industry by storm of late, ever since the success of legendary MMORPG Everquest more and more MMORPGs have been popping out in the market. Don't ask me to count cause i sure as hell ain't gonna do it, but look at the amount of titles that are out there already...There is just so many that its so hard to choose. But then of course in the endless list of titles, there are a whole lot of crappy ones as well...else you'd be wondering "hey what the fuck is this guy talkin about i only know of a handful of MMORPGs". Taiwan as a matter of fact has quite a number of titles that we have not seen anywhere else in the world (well mostly english speaking country, we get to see them in asian countries :P). Of course you've never heard of them, they're all in chinese...Hell i can't even read the damn titles of the damn game, let alone play them. Althought some actually did make an english version, but mostly these converted games originated from Korea. I'm sure you've heard of Ragnarok Online and Lineage. Anyway my point in all this is...STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE GAMES!!! Its hazardous to your health.

Let me explain why playing online games are hazardous to your health (btw this is personality dependant). First health hazard: Stress. Yup playing an online game can cause stress, now you must be wondering "aren't games meant to be entertainment? something to help you relax?" Well obviously that is the intention of a game after all the definition of a game found in the dictionary is:-
An activity providing entertainment or amusement; a pastime.

But because it is common to be competitive in online games, attitude of the players have now evolved into something else entirely other then the original intention of what a game really is which is to have fun. This might be very subjective because fun to one person may not be the same to another, so i'm referring this on a general basis. Stress occurs when competition arises, after all who would want their character to be weak? Who doesn't like to win? Of course everyone wants to be strong la, be hero la and above all else be a winner. And with every failure to consequences would make the player more and more distraught. Smack talking in online games are very common, and that is not gonna help as well...as a matter of fact its gonna demoralise you even further and cause more hatred towards that person. How la can you call this entertainment, i'm sure many of you have heard of people fighting with each other over a game...And i think thats damn fuckin common in asian countries, or at least among asians. I wonder why??? Stupid dumb fucks can't take it, get all agitated with some words comin out of some morons ass which so happens to be in the position where a normal persons mouth should be and then a fight ensues. Wah stress...damn kek sau!!! See thats point number two already, its inter-related la you know, so the point is you can get injured physically...obviously not a good thing and was never the intention of the creators. Final point...Have you ever lost friends from playing a game? Weird huh? Well i have...technically la anyway. When you play together as a BIG group of friends, factions withing your circle will be formed...almost completely unavoidable, and within those factions there's gonna be alot of badmouthing one another, and thats gonna cause strain within your relationship in real life, as well as in the game...if it gets out of hand and the shit hits the fan, well...then its too late. Actually i didn't lose any friends, but i saw my friends argue among themselves and they never say eye to eye anymore and can't stand the sight of each other. So to cut it short its like 'I don't wanna friend you anymore!!!'...wah like baby only.

So now i'll conclude with one piece of advice...Stay away from MMORPGs, if you'd still insists then thats up to you entirely. For me i just play the game at my own pace and by myself...minding my own business, and most importantly (for me yah this wan) never want to stick my head into Guild politics, it'll kill the game faster then an F1 car doing zero to hundred.
